Hearts Haven is named after a cottage on Lake Michigan that our grandparents owned  from the early 1900's until the 1970’s. Here many loving memories with family and friends were created and plenty of good times spent. Family and friends are what life is about and our Maine Coons are part of just that, our family!

Our names are Robert and Coleena Hanson of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have two children, whom our cats adore playing and spending time with. We have been showing and breeding Maine Coons exclusively since 1998.Our Maine Coons are shown competitively in the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association), yet our cats are also TICA registered and we are current members of the CFA's Maine Coon Breed Council. Our Maine Coons have been very carefully selected from the best pedigrees for the attributes they bring to the breed.  

Kittens are available on a reservation basis only. All of our babies are raised underfoot and are very well-socialized. Our contractual agreement with new parents strictly prohibits declawing and requires that our Maine Coon kittens and retirees be kept indoors only for their health and safety throughout their lifetime. Our kittens are placed after they have received all of their vaccinations, have been either spayed or neutered and have passed all the requirements to obtain a State of Florida Health Certificate, issued only by a licensed veterinarian.
